Day 13

We started off today going back to six flags *again! Then we drove for 4 hours to get to my "kinfolk" in Tennessee!! We also went to the airport to pick up my Mommy!*yay.

Day 12

Today we drove some more, and more, and more.First we went to Montgomery,Alabama
(#6). After that we went to the church where Martin Luther King Jr. preached. *Amen. We also went to Atlanta Georgia (#7) which was conveniently located right next to a six flags amusment park where not only did we ride some amazing rides. We also saw Aly&Aj in concert at the park!!!!!

Day 11

Today we started at Baton Rouge,LA the tallest capitol in the nation!!! (#5) Then we went to Mothers Restaurant another good foods place from our book(it had the BEST roastbeef sandwhich in the south). Then we went on an awesome swamp tour we saw about 7 or 8 alligators and lots of birds and flowers that was one of my favorites on the trip.

Day 10

Started off by going to the Vicksburg National Park. We got to see a cannon being fired. The person who was explaining about the cannon told us to plug our ears(
dad didnt). It was so loud it set of the car alarms.WOW!!!
Then we headed to Jackson,Mississippi Capitol (#4) to conclude our day.

Day 9

today we spent most of our day is Arkansas. First we went to the Clinton Library which is one of the museums I actually enjoyed and then of course we had to take our side trip and visit the capitol, Little Rock (#3). Then we headed to Little Rock Central High School where if you don't know was one of the first schools to have integration..and it wasn't easy.

Day 8

busy day!!we started of by seeing the elvis presley tour(got some awesome pics).After that we headed to the national civil right museum at the lorraine motel. martin luther king, jr. was assassinated on this spot in 1968. dad says they got the wrong guy.

Then we went to sun records (where elvis made his first records) for a photo stop!

After that was probably my favorite stop of the trip yet we went to leonards bar-B-Q. dad ordered the big leonard with cole slaw IN the sandwich. Our waiter was hilarious she said she knew we weren't from around here. we called it minnesooota and after i figured out for the first time i love BBQ ribs she brought her friend over and said "will y'all say it again?"-- minnesooota :-)

Day 7

we actually had a kind of busy day today. we started by getting into six flags an hour early because we purchased season passes and got to ride our favorite ride seven times in a row.
Then we took a side trip to Jefferson City,Missouri (#2)(we are trying to see as many state capitols on our trip too)where we took some pictures and got to eat at one of the restaurants in our roadfoods book which tells us historic good food places in different states.
Then we headed down to arkansas and on the way dad got a little speeding ticket actually is was a big one but its ok. check out the pics.

Day 5

D-R-I-V-I-N-G what does that spell driving ugghh today we actually took a 100 mile detour so that was fun but then after all this 300 miles of driving we got to the fun. we went to the top of the st. Louis arch and got some great pics and now we are staying in the town of Eureka,Missouri where we are going to six flags amusement park tomorrow yea!!!!

Day 3

well all i can say today is....DRIVING!!!!!We also did visit our states great capitol (#1) but that's about it besides plying pool at a bar.(me and dad had some good laughs in the car though). we drove from Bemidji to red wind, MN.

Day 2

today we were going to go on a boat ride but not enough people showed up but we still had to wait for 30 minutes. We also went up to the headwaters where we walked across the lake/river(slippery,i fell in).Then we went to the Judy Garland museum in Grand Rapids, MN (her birthplace).

wow!! the first day was very interesting we made it up to lake Itasca were we stayed the night in our very own log cabin with a fireplace and......beds.
